Assault with a weapon — domestic violence. The defendant was found guilty of one charge of assault with a steak knife as a weapon. The defendant admitted throwing the knife, the issue was whether the knife was thrown intentionally at the victim. On the evidence it was found that the defendant was overcome with rage, had been drinking excessively and intentionally threw the knife at the victim.
