Sentencing — possession of Class A drug — methamphetamine — pseudoephedrine — Contac NT — admissibility of evidence. The defendant was charged with being in possession of a Class A drug for supply, offering to supply methamphetamine and offering to supply pseusoephdrine (which could result in the production of methamphetamine). Following a failed appeal on the admissibility of evidence, the defendant entered a guilty plea, and was entitled to a full 25 percent discount for that plea. The defendant was sentenced to three years and one month imprisonment, his fines were remitted and the amount of cash found on the defendant was forfeited under the provisions of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
