Sentencing — wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm — male assaults female — assault with intent to injure — reckless driving. The defendant was sentenced for two series of offending. In regard to the first set of offending, the defendant approached two victims following a course of reckless driving. He assaulted the two victims including holding the female victim by the throat and squeezing tightly. Whilst on bail for that offending, the defendant struck a third victim to the head causing him to fall to the ground where the defendant repeated kicked him to the head. Discounts were given for the defendant's guilty plea in respect of the wounding with intent charge. The defendant was sentenced to a total term of imprisonment of three years and nine months.
