Sentencing — committing an indecent act on a child — sexual violation of a child.
The defendant pleaded guilty to one charge of committing an indecent act on a child and one charge of sexual violation of a child. In assessing the starting point of the sentence, the court took into account the significant breach of trust, the young age of the victim, and all the charges the defendant faced. The defendant received a discount for his guilty plea and was sentenced to four years and 10 months' imprisonment.
