Burglary — theft — intentional damage — driving whilst disqualified third or subsequent — failure to stop — reckless driving — receiving property — breach of bail — ram raid burglary — sentencing. The defendant was sentenced for offences that took place over a six week period including several ram raid style burglaries of commercial premises and driving charges relating to the defendant's role as a getaway driver involved in a police chase. Aggravating features of the offending included the defendant's previous convictions, and offending whilst on bail. Discounts were given for the defendant's early guilty plea and remorse. The defendant was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of three years and two months. Judgment Date: 10 July 2017.
