Making an intimate visual recording — supplying methamphetamine — cultivation of cannabis — possession of methamphetamine — possession of methamphetamine for supply — possession of morphine — sentencing.
The defendant was sentenced for a number of offences, including charges relating to 26 grams of methamphetamine, possession of 10 morphine tablets and making intimate visual recordings without consent. The defendant was sentenced having accepted a sentencing indication that took a starting point of five years' imprisonment for the methamphetamine offending with uplifts for the other drug related offending and previous convictions. The intimate visual recording charge was considered as entirely separate offending and raised the starting point to seven years' imprisonment, this starting point was reduced to six years to reflect the totality of the offending. Reductions were given for the defendant's efforts to rehabilitate and guilty plea. The defendant was sentenced to four years and five months' imprisonment, an order was made for the destruction of recovered drug related paraphernalia.
