Sentencing — community service — financial reparation — assault with intent to obstruct a police officer — assault — intentional damage — resisting a police officer. The defendant was sentenced to 300 hours’ community service and ordered to pay $5000 of emotional harm reparation to the victim on a charge of assaulting with intent to obstruct an officer in the course of duty. Concurrent community service sentences were given in relation to the assault, intentional damage and resisting charges. The defendant’s youth and steps towards rehabilitation were mitigating features.
