Declaration that child in need of care or protection — custody order — Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989, ss 14 and 101 — Family Court Rules 2002, r 90A. A declaration was made under s 14(1)(a) and (b) that the child was in need of care and protection and a s 101 custody order was made in favour of the Chief Executive. The family group conference plan, that the child would live with the mother and maternal uncle and aunt, was approved by the Judge with a review ordered in six months. The litigation guardian’s appointment was terminated as the mother had turned 18; she was now able to take part in proceedings in her own right. **Note: names have been changed to comply with legal requirements.
