Tenancy Tribunal appeal — rent arrears — notice of termination — Residential Tenancies Act 1986, ss 29, 30, 45, 51 & 54. The appellant appealed a Tenancy Tribunal decision that made awards in favour of the respondent for multiple breaches, including failure to keep accurate business records, failure to repair an oven in a timely manner, and that a 90-day notice of termination was retaliatory. The Judge found only the appeal relating to the repair of the oven to have merit. On the other matters, the Judge found the Adjudicator had correctly decided. The Judge ordered the appellant to pay the respondents costs on a 1A basis and ordered the amount payable for the breaches to be $2,265.44. Judgment Date: 17 August 2018.
