Appeal from Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal — Motor Vehicles Sales Act 2003, cl 16, sch 1 — Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. An appeal from a decision of the Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal was dismissed. As the claim did not exceed $12,500, the appeal could only be advanced on the grounds of procedural unfairness which prejudicially affected the result (clause 16, schedule 1). This ground of appeal was not substantiated by the appellant's submissions that the Tribunal had misinterpreted or misapplied the Consumer Guarantees Act. Judgment Date: 14 September 2016.
