Domestic violence — parenting order — Care of Children Act 2004, s 48. The Judge approved a parenting order agreed to by both parties. The children had expressed their willingness to spend time with both parents. Domestic violence had been perpetrated by each party against the other, although the Judge opined the violence of the father had been more serious. The father had taken positive steps which included programmes for violence, anger management and parenting. Protective clauses were incorporated into the parenting order by the Judge so that if breached the other party could seek to have the parenting order altered. **Note: names have been changed to comply with legal requirements. **Note: names have been changed to comply with legal requirements.
