Costs — Calderbank offer — District Court Rules 2014, r 14.6 — Holdfast NZ Ltd v Selleys Pty Ltd (2005) 17 PRNZ 897. The Court found it reasonable that the defendant reject the Calderbank offer on the grounds that it considered that it had a chance of successfully defending the claim. The Court was not satisfied overall that the case for increased costs had been made out. Judgment Date: 9 February 2017.
