Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal — self-represented litigant — layman — Fair Trading Act 1986 — Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 — Motor Vehicle Sales Act 2003. The appellant, a self-represented litigant, sought appeal of a decision of the Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal. The appellant submitted 18 separate grounds of appeal in which he argued errors were made in the tribunal's processes, assessment and conclusions. The Judge addressed each claim individually and found that the tribunal's decision was careful, comprehensive and detailed. The Judge was not persuaded there was any error and accordingly dismissed the appeal. Judgment Date: 7 June 2019.
