Sentencing — aggravated robbery — theft — second strike warning — drug use. The defendant appeared for sentencing on charges of aggravated robbery and theft. The defendant and his co-offender had disguised themselves before turning up at the victim's home with a crowbar and demanding drugs. A starting sentence of six years' imprisonment was imposed, reduced to four years and nine months for the defendant's guilty pleas. A further three month reduction was given for the defendant's remorse and willingness to partake in restorative justice. Judgment Date: 12 February 2020.
