Oral judgment — selling food without certification — failing to register a food control plan — failing to comply with notice — breach of the Food Act — Food Act 2014, s 305. The defendant cafe owner faced two charges under the Food Act. She had sold food without a food control plan, and had then failed to comply with a direction to put a food plan in place. The defendant had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charge but failed to appear at Court for the current proceedings. She had previously made statements denying the Court's jurisdiction.
