Declaration — children in need of care and protection — Children, Young Persons, and Their Families Act 1989, ss 67, 91, 101. The Judge made a declaration that all four of the respondents’ children were in need of care and protection, being satisfied that the orders made would best advance the welfare and best interests of the children. The three eldest children were placed in the custody of their maternal grandmother, a s 91 support order having been made in respect of that placement. The youngest child was placed in the custody of the Ministry of Social Development. The implementation plan was to be amended to include record of the parents’ consent to the custody orders pursuant to s 101 of the Act. **Note: names have been changed to comply with legal requirements.
