Sentencing — possession of shellfish in excess of daily limit — undersized shellfish — scallops — Fisheries Act 1996, s 255C — Ministry of Fisheries v Miller District Court, 21 October 2014, Judge Paul — Prangley [1993] CA 380/93. The defendant appeared for sentence, having pleaded guilty to one charge of possession of shellfish in excess of daily limit and one charge of possession of undersized shellfish. The Judge considered comparable cases and reached an end sentence of a fine of $750 on each charge, plus court costs for each charge. Judgment Date: 25 February 2020.
