Sentencing — burglary — injuring with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. The defendants appeared for sentence on one charge of burglary and one of injuring with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. They and a third person had gone to the victim's house, forced open the door and repeatedly punched and kicked the victim. They then ordered the victim to give them his PlayStation. The Court had previously given a sentence indication of no more than three years three months' imprisonment. Both defendants earned a one-month discount - the first defendant for remorse, the second defendant for lack of previous relevant convictions. Both defendants were sentenced three years two months' imprisonment. Judgment Date: 24 April 2018.
