Ancillary powers — Property (Relationships) Act 1976, s 33. Application for exercise of ancillary powers under s 33 of the PRA dismissed. The orders sought were not appropriate because: - There was a lack of clarity about the funds available, and no independent information available to the Court; - The proposed rate of payment over time would significantly reduce the value of the compensation paid; and - The orders sought would circumvent the powers of the Official Assignee should the bankruptcy process be initiated.
