As a result of the execution of a search warrant, the defendant was found to be in possession of a pistol, ammunition, MDMA, GBL, cannabis plant and methamphetamine. The defendant was also sentenced for possession of cannabis oil. The defendant was sentenced in line with a sentencing indication that took a starting point of six years and six months' imprisonment. A discount was given for guilty plea, remorse and attempts to rehabilitate, leading to a final sentence of four years and nine months' imprisonment. Judgment Date: 25 January 2018.
