Relocation — final parenting order — Care of Children Act 2004, s 49C. A final parenting order was made in favour of the mother for day-to-day care of the children, and relocation to Brisbane was authorised as it was in the best interests of the children. The mother was open to the children having some form of contact with their father but in the absence of any evidence on his behalf, the risks to the children were deemed too high to make any formal contact order during these proceedings. It was left open to the father to apply to the Court if he wished to pursue contact. **Note: names have been changed to comply with legal requirements. **Note: names have been changed to comply with legal requirements.
