Review hearing — plan for child — additional guardianship — Oranga Tamariki Act 1989, ss 101 & 110. This hearing was to review the plan in place for the child. The child was in the custody of the Chief Executive of Oranga Tamariki pursuant to s 101 of the Oranga Tamariki Act (OTA) and had lived for some time with caregivers. An amendment to the plan was sought, to appoint one of the caregivers as an additional guardian for the child pursuant to s 110 of the OTA. This amendment was supported by all parties involved, including lawyer for child. The Judge made an order appointing the one caregiver as an additional guardian, and made an order continuing the current custody order.
