This protocol provides for the sharing of information between the Family Court and the Youth Court, including copies of any professional reports and family group conference plans completed for the child or young person.
Protocol for the Sharing of Information Between the Family and Youth Courts
This protocol sets out the process for media attending and reporting on Youth Court proceedings. Accredited media are legally entitled, and permitted, to attend any Youth Court hearings. However, media must have permission from the judge that heard the proceedings before publishing any report of Youth Court proceedings.
