The defendant was found to have breached its obligations under a bailment by releasing a tractor to a third party. While being operated by the third party the uninsured tractor was destroyed by fire. The defendant was therefore liable to the plaintiff for the loss of the tractor. Further submissions were sought from counsel regarding valuation and costs, if agreement could not be reached. Judgment Date: 10 August 2016.
