Appeal against a decision to revoke Firearms Licence — Arms Act 1983, s 62. Appeal pursuant to s 62 dismissed. The appellant was not a fit and proper person for the purposes of holding a Firearms Licence. Matters which informed the Judge’s decision were convictions and past mental instability of the appellant. The incident which led to the licence being revoked involved crashing a vehicle with a rifle and its bolt in the boot, while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Judgment Date: 23 May 2016.
