Evidence of sexual experience — Evidence Act 2006, s 44. Leave was given to ask questions about an allegation and conviction which activated s 44 of the Act. Section 44 prohibits evidence given or question put to a witness of the complainant’s sexual experiences with any person other than the young person. The Judge granted leave as the evidence or question was of direct relevance to the facts in issue.
