Correction of judgment sum — District Court Act 2016 — Construction Contracts Act 2002, s 59(2) — Interest on Money Claims Act 2016 — District Court Rules 2014, r 11.10 — Auckland Waterproofing v TPS Consulting Ltd (2007) 18 PRNZ 797. The Court had entered an adjudicator's determination as a judgment of the District Court in favour of the plaintiff in the sum of $2,840,189.94. The parties now agreed that the sum was in fact $2,788,111.07. The Court therefore corrected the sum entered in the earlier judgment. The Court also entered contractual interest in the sum of $268,529.45. The Court also entered interest in favour of the plaintiff and actual and reasonable costs as well as disbursements. Note: this judgment should be read alongside Naylor Love Construction Ltd v Body Corporate 200012 [2017] NZDC 14435. Judgment Date: 25 September 2017.
