WorkSafe New Zealand v Whakaari Management Ltd (CRI-2020-004-009514)
The judge-alone trial relating to the Whakaari-White Island disaster in December 2019 began on Monday 10 July 2023 at the Specialist Courts and Tribunals Centre in Auckland. The proceedings, under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, were brought by WorkSafe NZ.(external link)
