Te Ao Mārama is a judicial initiative intended to enhance justice for all people affected by the business of the family, youth and criminal jurisdictions of the District Court. The Best Practice Framework sets out how Te Ao Mārama will operate. It is an easy-to-use resource, primarily intended for District Court judicial officers. It will also be useful and of interest to court staff, lawyers, relevant government agencies and the local communities the District Court serves.
